At the conclusion of the contest, we will reopen the gallery for submissions by any Fan Club or message board member, for display only. Thanks to all who participated!
Submitting your contest entry:
1. Deadline for entries is March 31, 2003.
2. This contest is open to all members of the Official Lord of the Rings Fan Club, and/or all members of Decipher’s Lord of the Rings message boards. You must be a member of at least one of these groups to enter.
3. Entries are limited to three per person.
4. Entries must be of traditional arts and/or crafts. Computer generated art (e.g. wallpapers) is not eligible.

6. The e-mail accompanying each entry must have in the Subject line “Fan Art Contest Entry,” and the text must include the following:
a. The artist’s user handle/message board name
b. The artist’s e-mail address
c. Whether you wish this e-mail address to be included in the gallery (ie, made public). If you do not state a preference, your e-mail will not appear on the gallery.
d. Whether you are entering as an Adult (ages 17+) or as a Youth (16 and under)
e. Title of the piece
f. The medium(s) used
g. If you have your artwork displayed on a web site or web page, a link to this site/page may be added to your entry. Please provide the name and URL of the site/page.
7. Entries must be in .jpeg, .bmp or .tiff format.
8. Entries should be 100KB or less in size. If you are having any difficulty sizing your work, contact
for assistance. Please note we will be resizing your work to fit the Gallery, so the original dimensions (pixel width and height) are not critical.

The contest and site coordinators (Rosie, Gonzai, ComicGrrl and LE) have agreed they are not eligible to compete in this contest and their work will not be submitted to the judges for consideration. Their art is on the site for display purposes only.
Prizes
Prizes for the contest are provided by Decipher, Inc. All winners will be contacted by e-mail to arrange for prize delivery. All three prizes will be awarded in both the Adult and Youth categories.
